Gonna be a daywalker....

Since my baby is due this december, I am gonna go from night shift to day shift at the start of the year. My hubby is doing the same things. Sounds like not a big deal but considering our jobs and personalities...... I think it will be a HUGE deal. It will prolly be good for the hubby, even though he has not been out in daylight for about 6 years or so. When he gets out of bed and the sun is still up, he walks around the house opening blinds. I fuggin HATE it. I run to our downstairs area(subfloor rec. room, no windows) and watch cartoons until the glare of day has gone away.
As for me, I am really going to dread the traffic. Plus, people are going to be totally different. There will be more old people, kids, and day-type people walking around. I think this might be a little hard for me. I'm usually fairly tolerant and I like people but something about the thought of the sun blinding me at the same time as the jolly, bouncy daywalkers are shouting, "GOOD MORNING!!!!!!" in my ears......agh.
And traffic.... don't get me started.
I wonder if I'm going to start knitting, baking, and tending a garden.

I'm versatile, I like both. But tend to be more of a nightstalker. But nothing beats laying nude in the sun..............gives you color. :)

What if I need gas in my car? Won't I need to go to about 20 minutes ahead of time to buy gas? Won't there be a TON of other cars blocking my way? Is there a method to not waiting so long for a gas pump or do I really gotta just wait in line?

Exactly. But do you think the sunglasses will work? Ohhhh. Maybe a sword, too. Ok, now we are getting somewhere.

I guess it will be nice being out and about when stores are still open. I'm more worried about my days off from work. I will prolly only be working 2 or 3 days a week. Hmm. What do people do when the sun is out? I don't live by a beach or anything. Maybe go to the park? It will prolly look strange if I sit on my front porch at noon drinkin a bottle of merlot with my newborn in my arms. Hmmm. Gotta find things to do that are daylight and baby friendly.
