I know bringing gear back is no longer a good idea. Is there anyway to ship things from there though? Also do they have cuban cigars down there? Anything else fun down there to buy?I'd like to buy some pharms and ship those back , maybe take a stab at shipping some cigars. Do they really only let you bring back a liter of booze?Anything else to look for while shopping down there. I am gonna vist a friend in San Diego for a week to help him get ready for a show , so a day trip to Tj is in my plans.

I go all the time to buy gear, with no problems, what has happened? and the cigars are fake, and taste horrible.

No cuban cigars in TJ. Lots of chicklets, though. Anything you ship from a border town will likely get confiscated.

There are places to rent bikes and then walk it across. When you cross you return the bike and your chances of receiving package if sending from Cali. is much greater.
