going to buy a car in the 30k range. what are your opinions?

i have a Acura TL 06 with Nav brand new at the dealership waiting for me. i have now come across some a couple of benz E320 used 2003 with about 40k miles.

what do you guys think is the better choice for buying a car in the 30k range and why?

I's go with the new Acura over the used Benz for maintenance/ warranty purposes alone.

In the $30K range, you could look into a Subaru. They're fuggin great for the money and totally worth having if you get snow in the winter.

when benzes get some miles on them, they need more frequent, expensive maintenance than an acura or lexus will.

i would strongly reccommend a used lexus or acura...these companies make the highest quality, most maintenance free cars available. ( I WISH i could say that about ford or GM!) why pay 30 big ones for a car that isn't 100% maytag reliable???

egg-zack-ly. . .used to see a lot of older benzes on the road. . .no more. . .however, can't swing a dead cat w/o hitting a honda with 200,000 miles on it. . .

id go with the acura,Ive heard sub's while cool cars and have AWD have alot of problems and arent to relieable,that was just from reading reviews
