Gotta get two wisdom teeth pulled today. I've been in pain all week. This is the first time I have had to get a tooth pulled... and honestly.. I'm a little hesitant.

Well, I have been trying to cut lately, maybe this will help keep me from eating.

Oh man, when I had mine out it was an awful experience. My detist didn't put me under, just shot me up with novacaine. All four of mine were impacted. He cut open my gums, drilled the teeth in half, and then yanked and yanked... I had driven myself there, I was 19 and lived on my own. They had to call my mommy from work to come and get me, I was white as a ghost, and so dizzy.

haha... na, I haven't left yet. Apt isn't till 4pm PST. I hope that they knock me out. But I think the Dental assistant said they were just gonna numb the area. Hopefully it wont be as bad as Rach makes it sound. But, I do already have a ride arranged.

I have actually been on pain meds and Amoxicillin all week. maybe I should take a couple extra pills before I go to the dentist.

What's all this with you bishes getting full anesthesia for fucking wisdom teeth? The first two came out when I was 14 and the second two came out when I was 16. Novocaine only. It was a non-event that's hardly even worth thinking about.

whatever they gave to me when they pulled mine gave me one of the greatest highs of my life...seriously, I'd consider getting them pulled again if i could, just to experience that again. I've had like 10 teeth yanked plus my four wisdies; you'll be fine bro~!

Dont worry, locals can be just as effective as general. If it hurts, just tell them, and they can give you more.

i think when I went in, I had twilight sedation (not general) and I did have to have my daddy accompany and drive me home. I was 22.

once i had a molar pulled b/c it was literally cracked in half. so i went in to Frag's office and he loaded me up with so much nitrous and i felt so intoxicated I actually had to ask him to turn it down a notch or two lol.

I had mine taken out when I was in my early 20's. It was miserable, but it would have been worse had I have waited.

Ya I was supposed to get mine done in my early 20's but it kept getting pushed back. Now I'm 28 and I got an infection and have no choice. I'm glad its finally getting done... but that doesn't make it any more enjoyable...

LOL I know! I was high as a kite. It was funny. My hubby was even more silly on it he was all like "lets go to the club" and was jamming out to the music in the car on the drive home. lol Fun stuff.

Get some vicodin you wil be ok. I had my top cut out. They were not even bothering me, but since I got braces off it was suggested so my teeth don't ever shift later and ruin my teeth.

Yup... and they will shift... I'm living proof of wasted braces..

My bottom teeth shifted after my braces were removed due to me dropping the ball and not removing my wisdom teeth like the ortho suggested. 10 years later I am finally doing it, and could deff use braces on the bottom again to fix the miss aligned teeth I have now thanks to my impacted wisdom teeth.
