I got mad months ago and got rid of this channel.

Mistake....this channel rocks. A redeeming quality to the vast television wasteland (mostly).

Discover channel has some good stuff.....production quality is a notch down from the History channel. Their last "We shouldn't be alive" episode....sucked. A couple spent about 16 hours in the Pacific.....seen a couple shark tails.


My uncle spent a few days in the water at the Battle of Leyte Gulf. Seen a lot of guys go down after the sharks started tuggin...............maybe half.

History channel & discover have kept me entertained for years.

I bought the "basic" cable (channel 1-22) because it's like $13 Vs. $45 for extended basic, but they fucked up cuz I still have the extended, thank god.

I don't think I could find anything to watch after 12 (i stay up late) without discovery, history, and the cartoon network (adult swim).

The episode with the survival guru in Kenya was pretty good. Watched him drink from elephant dung that he squeezed....now that is hard core.

He encountered a puff adder....cool
A couple white rhinos.....cool
A herd of hippos..........cool
A herd of elephants........cool
A couple lionesses...very cool
A lone elephant at night...cool

Ate raw meat from a zebra that vultures were dining on...dude is hard core.
