Go Back Exactly 1 Year From Now, Any Changes?

havoc

Shaolin Ninja
Its March 7th, 7:42am, 2002, what were you doing this time last year?
Any changes? Are you married, divorced, single, engaged, turn gay, richer, poorer, prettier, uglier, in better shape, in worse shape. How have you grown? What is different? Have you taken a step in a better direction? Also, tell Elite what you hope to accomplish by this time next year.

Me personally, my faith is stronger, growing more every day, yesterday I told myself I am going to have a perfect day in respect to showing everyone true respect, I messed up around 11:30am with a small quarrel with my sister, so today I start over. I have a bit more money(not much), a new store(which leads to more responsibility/sleeplessness at times. In the best shape of my life, hope to continue on that road. Seems more has stayed the same though. This time next year I hope to be even stronger in regards to my faith, closer to my family and sharing a Time Share in the Caymans with some friends of mine. YOU? peace

Let see..still single, still no friends. training is still my life. i've lost my job. im in the best shape of my life. im starting a new wacked training program, lets hope it will make my ninja stronger.

hoping to get a new job, preferably at a gym. maybe make some friends, get a gf. wouldnt hurt.

My faith is stronger.
My marriage is even more solid.
I now have two wonderful children (eleven months old).
I am in better shape now than I was this time last year.
I went from driving a Porsche to Driving a Sedan & Minivan.
I FINALLY PAID OFF ALL MY STUDENT LOANS LAST WEEK!

Goals:

Pay off the rest of my Mortgage and I will be debt free.
Keep shakin and bakin.
Talk my wife into moving. I'm restless.

I'm out of the bouncing biz except for weekends at a peaceful bar (this is a good thing)
No more stripper girlfriend. REALLY a good thing!
I have a job that doesn't pay worth a shit but I like it and the paycheck is there every month.
I'm 25 pounds heavier, most of it lean muscle- we'll see how much I keep after this 1st cycle.
I've learned a lot more about people in general.
I'm $5000 closer to getting my rig paid off.
I don't sweat the small stuff as much.

Interesting post - Havoc - you have a pm.

Very interesting as ALL your lives are better than a year ago cuz this is my 1 year anniversary as Cornholio on Elite. Please feel free to send me good thoughtts.

1. around 12lbs heavier
2. Still no girlfriend
3. I have my own place now
4. I´ve cut down on drinking alot

Improvements from last year:
30 lean pounds heavier
Awesome girlfriend that I may have a future with
Been given the go ahead to apply to OTS
No longer partying and doing drugs several times a week (still go out and have fun, but not stupid fun).

Conditions not improved or worsened:
Debt
Hate my current job more and more but can't afford to quit.

Good post havoc.

All in all, last year was a good year.

I looked mean as fuck over summer, had multiple orgies, a cool ass girlfriend for about 7 months, and still managed to sleep with more girls in the year than I had in my entire life.

When I wasn't doing the aforementioned, I read a lot of books to develop a better understanding for the world, and the beauty possessed within. I have very happy on the spiritual path I have been on, and the path that I continue to travel. Nirvana is my final destination.

Over the last year I have maintained an awesome relationship with my daughter. As I see her 8 days a month, I was afraid our relationship may grow apart. I'm glad it has not, and I will always do whatever is in my power to keep her and I together, not only as father and daughter, but as friends. She keeps telling me, 'I'm gonna be 5 forever daddy.' She's so damn sweet, a part of me wishes that could be true.

In the next year, I'd like to develop a strong happy, loving relationship with someone. I miss the feeling of having sex with someone I really love. I haven't since Swayzie's mom.

All in all, last year was pretty good. As I continue on my spiritual path, I remember always that Tomorrow is a result of today, and that I am the result of yesterday. As I continue to improve myself, the way in which I see the world, the way in which I treat people, animals, and insects alike, I know my karmic energy grows stronger and stronger. Which only assures me of one notion... a brighter tomorrow always.

I would say it's a lot better, with only very few exceptions.

I am 50 pounds heavier with only a 3% increase in bodyfat.

I actually talk to my ex-fiancee now, and get along rather well instead of cursing her very existance and doing anything I can to piss her off.

At this time last year I was on the tail end of a 63 day drinking bender, (mostly due to the ex), now I rarely if ever drink

I have quit smoking for good

I am not quite as happy at my job due to new owners and a whole new staff, but it is still pretty good scratch...

As pretty much everyone stated before, I am in the best shape of my life, and look the best I ever have.

I guess all in all, last year sucked!!!

Yep....I got my family back.
My wife and I were seperated. I missed my daughters so much it actually hurt. But we're back!
Professionally, I'm finally making decent money in higher education.
And Cornholio's 3 day old school TORTURE program has given me some solid gains (naturally).

Basically 2001 sucked......

Peace

great post

i see you are in a reflective mood today havoc...oddly enough, so am i...

a year ago i was struggling through my last year of school....strung out on drugs, living a double life....

today things are much better...i have a great job doing molecular biology, i am debt free, i weigh about twenty pounds less, but am comfortable with my appearance...i have a host of real friends who really care about me...i have gained humility and integrity...oh yeah, i no longer screw with the chemicals....i learned a long, painful lessons on my limitations....it's beautiful right now in birmingham....my mom is coming in for dinner tonight, i have a date with a nursing student this weekend...and will finally scrounge up the game to ask this incredibly cute co-worker out for a cup of coffee after work...everyone wish me luck..

peace and contentment to all that seek it...

last year-

was still with my girl, happy as ever. Guess this is long term good...she was not the one...short term bad, we really could have had a great future together.

Training wise im alot stronger and more solid, not as heavy as I once was but harder, more vascular and a better build.

Im still in School but a year closer to grad.

Im on Elite now, this time last year I spent little or no time on the internet

Good post:

Mostly same old same old.

25# heavier and yes some fat from test.

lost my job due to big layoff but may have been a good thing.

Getting ready to move into a diff house away from town. thanks god.

Dont go to church any more but feel like im closer to god.

my 3 girls ages 11,6,3 growing like weeds.

Wife and I have been getting along great. Last year at this time used to argue alot.

Next year I want to have this body fat off my body and stay at 11% Body fat and be more financially secure.

Let me think, how am I different and what have I accomplished in the past year:

I am healthier now and considerably leaner.
My relationship has grown stronger through hardships and is continuing to grow.
I am closer to graduating.
I am wiser
I am further in debt (I am a poor student)
I have a better relationship with my mother and my sister.
I have learned to not sweat the small stuff.
I learned another language.
Went RVing across the United States with my boyfriend and friends.
Met many interesting and culturally different people who have changed me and influenced my life in extraordinary ways.

So many more differences....it has been a great year.

It is a one year anniversary of sorts for me, as well.

one year ago I was encapsulated by my demons, soon i will break free.

life is an ironic experiment.

i lost more hair. thanks dad, you fucking bastard. bawling:

Actually, your dad has nothing to do with that. Your mother's father has everything to do with it. Thank him.

Things i lost: my job, my mother, my girlfriend, 40 lbs or so.

Things I gained: true friends, insight, self recognition(this one is an ever growing one).

Hmmmm,,, Ive done 2 cycles..so I have a lot more muscle on me, much stronger, I was fired for the first time, I am now unemployed, Ive exp both love and heartbreak, I have more friends and a social life even lol, all that good stuff...My life is nothing like it was a year ago

Hmmm....good post, Havoc.

I am much stronger now.
Have put on about 20 lbs or so...not all of it muscle...but I know some of it is or else there would be no strength.
I have a wonderful boyfriend who I see an incredible future with.
I am one year from graduating.
I have found God again...pushed him out of my life for the longest time...but he is back now.
I do not drink nearly as much.
I have made some really wonderful friends just this semester.
I do not enjoy my job, but am hoping to change that.
My relationship with my mother is better....we do not argue as much.

For the most part...my life is heading in the right direction....but I still have a few things that I need to get on the ball with.

Great to see that Mr. H, though you never emailed me back you bastard. ;^)

Let's see, slightly over a year ago, I was beyond miserable because of my back. I could not sleep well, couldn't train for shit, my weight eventually dropped from natty 195 to natty 178 (probably lower than that even but I couldnt stand to weigh myself.)

I was lonely, bored, and very unhappy, no car, shitty job....

Now I'm around 200-205, not quite in the best shape of my life yet, I was in better shape before I got really sick a month ago and lost a LOT of weight. (For those of you w/ platnium, compare my pic in my journal to my pic in the pics of members forum.)

My weight has stayed similiar since I hit around 200, but I've increased my muscle maturity, density and quality quite a bit....

I'm still pretty lonely, still struggling with social stuff, single again with a bright future in that area though....I have a very nice car for my age, a relatively good job though working it (GNC) 5x a week + school + trying to balance training, eating 6-7 meals per day, and getting no less than 8.5 hours of sleep at night is wearing on me.....

Havoc, there are some issues regarding spirtuality I would like to discuss with you via email, not sure when I will get around to it to be realistic but I would love your input..thanks.

change? of course. i am in the best shape i have been in years. i am fortunite to have great friends that love me and i love as well. while my faith might not be as strong as it could be, my respect for other people and theirs is. i am doing well in school which is my full time job. my surfing is progressing in the right dirrection daily. i have some very high but realistic goals. and monitarily, while i am not rich by any means i have enough to make it and have some fun along the way. but then again i dont know too many rich students. but in retrospect if you are a philisophical person like myself, then you measure wealth by the amount of success one abtains in a life time. and the deffinition of success is being able to cope with failure when it comes. peace, genxrep :newbie:

this time last year i wasn't into clubbing as much, had a job, would never think of doing steriods. other then that, same old shit
