Glute injection pain

How did you get your pins if you don't know what gauge it is? Sounds to me like your needle size is too big. 23g maximum, but 25g preferably to inject with. Are you drawing with a different needle? That could also be your problem with pain. Never draw and shoot from the same needle

I remember learning this the hard way back in 02  ewwww ouchhh   

Right drawing and injecting same needle I like 18ga to draw and 23 or 21 to inject. Take It slow on the plunger, stick it quick, don't tighten up, relax, slow inject
