Glutamine recommendations

educate me on glutamine

what is the best type? - I believe there are L-glutamines, glutamine peptides, and I don't know what else - which type is best?

what is the best brand/manufacturer for the money?

what are your dosing recommendations? off cycle? on cycle?

I'm a big fan of creatine - how do you dose glutamine and creatine? - pre-workout, post-workout, once per day, together?

thanks for all replies

glutamine peptides are better, (better absorbtion)

http://www.Proteinfactory.com has a decent price for glutamtine but more importantly the information you seek including more detailed difference between the two types.

http://www.kilosports.com sells the Glutamine Peptides cheaper than protein factory but you don't have the option of buying in a smaller quantity like proteinfacory.

I got the glutamine peptides from kilsports.com its a white chalky tasting powder floats in water so it doesn't mix with anything. After a while it becomes palletable just eating it dry though. Since it has virtually no flavor. Its kinda messy sinces its so light it easily kicks up. Mine came fortified with calcium (though it did not say it would be, ih well happy it is). 1 tablespoon being 9 grams of glutamine and like 33% calcium. I got 2.2Ibs of it. for $40

5 to 40g of glutamine a day. Most ppl respond well to 15-20g. You can take it anytime of the day, 5g at a time. 5-10g is nice post-workout.
