Overrated. It's funny in some parts....no where near as funny as Superbad.

it looks really bad, but I may give it a shot anyway. i thought forgetting sarah marshall was fucking really (surprisingly) good. didn't know who Brand was at the time and thought he was great in it. but, usually when a director/producer takes two actors from one movie who had "great chemistry" and makes a new movie with them - especially when one plays the same character again - it's just a force fit. and Brand was the total opposite of a party animal in sarah marshall.
i figured out pdiddy could actually be tolerable in movies when I saw a movie called Made. Not many peeps have seen it, but it's fucking funny. One of the few times Vince Vaughn was actually comedic. I still used "you turned an Easter egg hunt into a butt-fuck-a-thon" (diddy quote from Made) consistently.

i was surprised at how funny diddy was.
some parts were stupid but the majority of it was fucking hillarious.

Most of America can't stand Brand. He's like a future pauly shore. Brand totally blew the mtv awards couple years back. Never was re-invited.
As a result, it opened up at #4 with a lousy $10M. Next week it'll be like #9. It flopped.

LOL @ thinking EVERYONE in the music industry doesn't milk EVERY possible thing they can. For not being very good at ANYTHING he sure knows business because he's RICH and hasn't had to do much. He is no more douchey than Donald Trump or any of these other SUPER rich people that find ways to make money off of everyone else's work.
How many people have marketed off of Elvis' and Pac's deaths for example...Plus, Diddy isn't the only one to market off Biggie, Jay-z did his fare share as well.

Ya, might be big in rentals though. The majority of the US are fucking idiots that will buy any piece of shit advertising. Once it catches on it will be very popular.
