Genotropin Cartridge Removal

Hi,

I've got some Pfizer Genotropin 12mg pens, I can't seem to remove the cartridge without mixing it. How do I remove the cartridge from the pen without mixing it. I want the cartridge out of the pen unmixed. I don't want to randomly start twisting something in case I accidentally mix something.

The guides and videos on Pfizer's website are rubbish and don't help. I can't seem to find an answer on the internet.

I am familiar with the 5mg (green) genotropin pen and assuming the 12mg pen works in the same fashion the 2 chambered cartridge should only mix once you have inserted the cartridge into the pen and have screwed the pen together, the actual movement of the pen being screwed together is what mixes the the cartridge. It is perfectly fine/safe to leave the partially used inside the pen, in fact i wouldn't take it out until the cartridge is empty because you might mess up the digital dosage settings.
