i dont agree with this whatsoever. when i was a kid, my mind was on playing outside, watching cartoons, and just being a kid, not talking about sex and/or attraction.

My first experience with another boy was in the fifth grade.

They're not trying to convert anyone, just point out that sexual identity forms at a young age.
But I agree 6 years old is pushing it.

they should be allowed to learn about this through time and experience, not have it pushed down their throats at an early age.

Actually.......... if you were to take a poll, most gay people knew they were gay when in the range of 4-7 years old.

If this were an ad targeted AT children, I would be against it. But it is not targeting children, it is portraying a very factual reality.

If you want disturbing..... go to some of the Safe Sex clinics.... these are STRAIGHT clinics... I have seen "Children Education" series where they display posters that were drawn and painted by CHILDREN with messages like "Wear a Condom". "Practice Safe Sex". "Masturbation Saves Lives". I am not kidding you. These are posters with pictures of condoms, KY, etc... drawn by elementry school children.

Yea but you're what 9 or 10 in 4th grade? I was bringing playboys to school in 2nd grade but you're in kindergarten(sp?) at 6 y/o. That's extremely young to even be exposed or have any interest in sexual lifestyles

Perhaps this was the brainchild of a rabid anti-gay agent who infiltrated the ranks of the Pride organization in order to make them look foolish in the most devious manner possible...from the inside!

The idea of a 6 year-old knowing her sexual orientation is dubious at best. Even if she turns out to be right, some other confused child may turn out to be wrong. Either way, I find it inappropriate and unnecessary. If their point is that being gay is genetic, determined from birth, and not a matter of choice, this isn't an effective way to do it.

I see where you are coming from and I agree up to a point, but kids can be very delicate at that age, so it is imporant for them to know that leading an "alternative lifetsyle" is completely acceptable in society.

6 year olds aren't worried about alternative lifestyles.

i dont see this as a gay or straight issue, i just see it as another example of over-sexualizing kids.

do you really think a 6 year old came up with such a witty saying as 'not all princesses choose a prince'? come on.

people, whatever their agenda may be, should just stay out of children's lives and stop trying to use them as some kind of political tool. just let them be kids, dammit.
