From the original post. Try blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries. They are great and can be bought frozen with a low glycemic value. Its a great pre or post workout shake. Mix it with a solid protein shake 2 scoops. I personally like to add almonds and use it in the blender, but make sure you blend well. It goes down smooth, gets me going for my workout. Besides this type of shake will have the right mix of protein, carbs, nutrients, and enzymes. And boy high in fiber, which you know is good for the digestion and processing all the food that it takes when your working out, speeding the metabolism. I find that after this shakes with fiber and a good protein shake I can eat a few hours later, like if I want food after my workout and no stomach problems. Good luck.
