I was reading an article on how personal change is so difficult due to our past centered way of thinking... we keep expecting the new, yet this is really insane since we rely mainly on the established perceptions, thoughts, behaviors that have been established in our heads...
I got this idea for a thread from AAP's thread in combination with this pscyh article while I procrastinate here on campus library... so nice and quiet.
However, I also thought how much I have changed in a decade, like I reflect on the new patterns of thoughts that have been established and the adventures I had in my mid twenties, the good times and the consequences of mistakes, I really haven't changed as much as I would have liked too, from 20 to 30... maybe a litte more cognizant of the future and definitely not digging on going out nearly as much. Perhaps more wary of people, oh and at 20 I thought I would be married in and settled in 5 or 6 years, but not the case, now I have a totally different view on marriage...
Has anyone changed significantly in the last decade, like made huge personal changes or worldview perceptions?
