You get all that at 40 as well except you start to see that you really start to decline physically. Not saying you can't stay fit - it is just a lot harder work with the injuries and overall performance.
Yeah, I noticed that I'm slightly more level headed, than I once was, but I'm in grad school and gonna be in medschool in June, so financial security is not one of my strengths right now, I am naturally fairly lean, but getting soft as I took the last 3 weeks off, starting back up monday... thats kewl, I hope my transition will be like yours. I think that 40 is the new 30 of 20 years ago.
