Frist cycle day 17

Started my first cycle 17 days ago.
5'10" 200lbs 18% bf been lifting off and on for 25 years and hardcore for last 8 and I'm 41.
Cycle 10-12 weeks of test-e 500mg week and nolva for PCT
Been eating big, fisk,chicken,beef, brown rice,oats,eggs,vegis,protein shakes.
Supps= multi v , fish oil , thinking about starting creatine.
Day 4 of cycle my appetite became outragous, keeping it clean(mostly)
Day 14 starting to feel a slight pump
Day 16 workout at the gym went great lifting a little more weight than usual for more reps. I workout 45-75 minutes but this time I was into my workout for 2 hours(20minute cardio) and I had to force myself to leave.
I'm up to 213 lbs now and am a little concerned about putting on too much fat, going to the gym 3-4 days a week(chest/tri,back/bi,legs/shoulders) and 20 minutes cardio.
I'm looking for imput/advise to my cycle progression , do thing look like there going typical , maybe someone can let me know the progression of there first cycle test-e?
 
Can't help you,but will be interesting to see your resaults. I am planning on doing either 250 or 500 mg test E for 10 weeks as my first cycle. Keep us updated :)

I don't see it being out of the norm. How many calories are you getting in a day? If you are concerned about gaining too much fat, you might want to lower you intake a little. You've picked up 13lbs in 16 days, actually now that I think about it that seems a little high. I would say this is mainly water gain, but you are still so early in the cycle and the test is still working towards its peak in the body. This is the time though that it will start to make a difference as it starts to peak. Better things are yet to come.

Sample food intake today:
4egg burrito w/cheese,oatmeal 6am
9ish whole bundle of asparagus, leftover corn one the cobb
11:30 tuna sandwich w/cheese 1.5 cups brown rice
1:30 gym 2 hours PWO drink
4:30 same meal as 11:30
It's 5pm now got atleast another meal with a protein drink just before bed.
Guess I should count out the calories but no time got to go to the store buy more food, I'm putting my teenage son to shame in the quest to eat all food in house...
 
does your son know that u are doing a cycle... looks like u can eat some more.. good luck

Do you have Microsoft Excel??? If so I can send you a worksheet that could help you out. All I do is put in the food description, Calories, and the macronutrient breakdown and the formulas total everything up for me. Its great since I can see exactly where I am for the day and what I need to do to get to my goal.
 
No all I have is word perfect. The more I read around the BB forums the more I'm learning how to dial in my diet as well as supplements. Just placed a rush order on supplements for a home made PWO drink.
And no my son doen't know but he may suspect something in a few weeks. Talked it over with my wife before I started ,she's not totally thrilled but she knows I put in the blood, sweat and years/tears naturally.So she supports me.
Don't know how I could eat more I'm so full all the time.
Trips to the gym are intense got to force myself to leave after 2 hours but I want to go longer.
Day 19 seeing slight changes in muscle size mostly in bi's , pec's , quads. (not that I would stare in mirror looking for change ,lol)

So should I eat more???
Cant stand fast food I smell that shit oozing out of my pours when I sweat at the gym, nasty.......

Not sure from what message board I found this link; but www.fitday.com is a free way of counting up your calories, checking your ratios between fat/carb/proteins, ect. I absolutely love the site--it's helped a heap in figuring out my diet for when I finally start up my first cycle.

Day 30. Feeling more pumped/swolen wife notices I'm a little bigger.(i see the jokes comming)
Gym workout are intense soaked with sweat when I leave. Weight has stayed the same for about a week ina half but I can tell I've slimed up some.
Don't know but I was expecting a little more by now. But I here I'll really be in high gear in another week or so.
Considering upping to dose to 750mg/wk, I'll see in a week or so.........
Thoughts and opinions are welcome......
 
Day 37. Muscles noticeably larger ,shoulders fuller, legs more defined, etc. feels good.
Up to 220 lbs now some of the fb around the waist has gone away but still a little chuncky. Workouts still lasting about 1.5 hours and small increases in strength.
No sides except hunger/horny. Upped my intake to 750mg/wk test-e not sure if noticable increase in size is because of stage of cycle or the upped dose either way I'm pleased.
On the down side while doing squats the other day @315 lbs on the 5 rep lost form for a split second and strained my lumbar, fuckin hurts but getting better the pain is worse in the morning when I wake up but little to no pain by afternoon. Going to have to scale back on deads and squats, BIG bummer but all is not lost there are ways around those exercises.
If size continues to go up I'll go a full 12 weeks. Also researching using Clen during my PCT but still researching.
Begining to relize the biggest cost of a cycle is eating alot of clean food it adds up fast tons of salmon , skinless chicken breast , bags of brown rice, eggs. I should of bought stock in Foster Farms before cycle..............
 
Day 47. Been at 750 mg/wk for 2 weeks now like it better than 500mg/wk. I'm at 222.5 lbs. Loss of some BF from earlier in the cycle finding it difficult and expensive to keep protein intake 300-400 grams a day but doable.
Typically going to gym after work, bout 3:30 little to no one in there and finding it would be nice to have a spotter so I can push myself a little harder but finding ways around that. Ever since I tore my rotator cuff 3 years ago doing BB bench with bad form I've shied away from BB bench. I'll do a few sets @ 135 ,most of my bench has been with DB's. Feeling my "oats" I decided to BB benches Tuesday and was pleased with the results. Started with 12 reps @135 then 10 @ 225 thought that was easy enough so I went to 315 and pounded out 6 with no problems figured I should stop there without a spotter. I felt damn good with myself watching my form the whole way through. It was just me and 4 other ladies in the gym that day and it always amazes me how much more I can push it when there's females around. Not sure which head takes over thinking at that point LOL.
Still some pain from lumbar strain so I'm just going to work around it till it gets better. No more good mornings for awhile and am going to modify my DL's and squats for now.
Veins are starting to really stick out every where , like that but dont like the belly I've formed, oh well will be cutting soon enough.
Back and Bi day today. Going to be hitting traps alot harder for awhile not happy with there progress.
 
Sounds liike your doing a great job.... your getting on average aabout 3 lbs a week.. thats great. Keep up the good work, and dont hurt yourself, ask one of the ladies to spot u, lol. Get up pics up post cycle

try doing one arm dumbell shrugs for traps, go HEAVY and get a good range of motion with a pause at the top,,,,,,,,,you will love em
 
My typical shrug consists of using what I guess is called the shrug bar where you put the weights on the ends and you stand in the middle. I'll do 8 reps @ 275-315 lbs and on the last one I'll hold it up as long as possable for 3 sets. After doing that as long as I have I would of thought my traps would be huge by now, and I do pay very close attention to form. Use to do the DB shrugs maybe I'll go back. Thanks............

Have you tried doing shrugs with barbell behind you(resting on ya glutes) works wonders for me.

Well it's 8 weeks now. I'm up to 225 lbs.
Despite the extra layer of fat, which I suspect is standing out more due to the lean muscle mass under, my stomach mostly. When I flex abs there is less fat than it looks, its as if my mid section is buldging out. I'm happy with the muscle development in my legs and shoulders.
Just got back from the gym, yet another very good workout. Did chest and tri's. Felt like I could of gone forever but I figure 2 hours is about long enough.
Routine: flat and incline BB and DB all for 3 sets of 8-15, flies for 5 sets 45,55,60 lbs 6-10 reps total of 17 sets on chest and I wanted more. For tri's I did: skull crushers 4 sets, close grip press 4 sets 8-12 reps, dips, cable push down with "V" bar and rope all for 3 sets 8-12 for a total of 17 sets. Not too bad after a 8 hour work day. One of the bennies is I feel recovered in about 48 hours love that part.
Going to skip the gym Sunday, going to go skiing(downhill) with my son then the gym Monday.
Looking at finishing the last 2 weeks of my cycle with the beginning of a cut cycle that I'll do for 12 weeks. I've decided to go with Albuterol, Ketotifen Fumarate, green tea extract and a low carb diet. The fat should come off fast. Looking foward to see what end result true muscle will be.
On a side note wife commented on how round my face is looking and I told her from what I've read it's the classic MOON FACE, told her not to worry it will be going away soon. Still no negitive sides, it make one think, why come off of the cycle..........

Nice! Seems like you are coming along well. Just don't over do it. I know what you feel, it is hard to want to come off a cycle, but one day or another you've got to. Sometimes I just think FUCK IT. Next time around grab you some Armidex if the moon face bothers you and that will take care of it.

I'm going to try and put together a worksheet in Microsoft Works Spreadsheet so you can try it out. My mother board got fired with my HD about 2 weeks ago and I had to buy all new stuff and I've got Works now as well as Excel.

Edit: Crap just went back and reread one of your old posts and you said all you have is Word Perfect. Man you need some new software.

Here it is week 9 already. Stayed at 225 lbs for a week now, ate lee food this week (my bad). Lumbar strain seems to have recovered 100%. Going to put it to the test next leg and back day. Getting a few comments on why I look red ,been telling people was out skiing the other day but have noticed my whole body looks that way a slight red look figure its from the test. Also noticed my nipples being more sensitive lately not sore but just the nipple being more sensitive and hard/erect kind of feels good LOL. (pictures of Fat Bastard flying through my head rubbing his nipples and saying I'm dead sexy).........
Did shoulders yesterday for the most part the workout went well but not happy with my standing military presses ,it was all I could do to pound out 3 sets of 8 @ 145. But the DB sitting press went well @ 75's each arm. Got a phone call will finish this later today..............

How does the karma work? Do people have to give you karma???????
If so I may need alot of it for the underside of my space ship so I wont burn up apon re-entry to Earth......

..........any way to continue ,I've been hitting my traps twice a week, on back days and on shoulder days and I'm a little surprised to see some noticeable gains but still a long way from the way I want them to look.
Not sure if the test but I usually get my 8 hours of sleep but anytime I sit down I could fall asleep in an instant for a nap. Makes it tough when you got to do a 40 work week but weekends I'll get in 2-3 naps a day sure hope its the test......
Ordered my supplements for my cut cycle ,more whey, chocolate this time (didn't like the berry), green tea extract , Liquid Albuterol, Ketotifen, fish oil , vita,blah,blah......
Going to start next Friday with 2 weeks of test-e left then of course start my PCT 2 weeks later with Nolva.

P.S. This is of course a fictional story I would never do such a thing to myself after all it is illegal. In a few months I'll be giving a weekly report on my space flight to the outer reaches of our solar system with detailed blue prints on the paper aircraft I'll build and fly (of course silly it will the really thick paper after all it will have to fly in out space) and lets not forget the engines I'll be designing using BIC lighters.......

WHAT???? where the hell did that come from... are u sure your not "on" anything else?

hey you should really think about getting some hcg or atleast clomid for pct. your pct is not planned out to well at all. you are shut down to the max right now after 10-12 weeks on test. its fun while your on, but trust me, when you crash because of a poorly planned pct you will feel like garbage. HCG!!!

I did research and ask around, and got many different opions on what my PCT should be before my cycle. It really amazed me there was so many different opions. But the majority of people seem to think for a test-e only PCT I should go with Nolva.
I'm taking my cycle to 12 weeks ,the last 2 I'm starting a cutting diet.
So at week 14-16 I will start Nolva @ 40 mg
16-18 Nolva @ 20 mg
18-normal @10 mg
I do plan starting @ week 10 ,albuterol , ketotifen , green tea extract , and a low carb diet.
That's the big plan of course if someone feels this isn't a smart way to go please let me know I don't want to fuck things up because I've gained 10-15 lbs of muscle so far and really can't wait to shed the fat to be more defined and get a true muscle gain measurement...........
 
Nolva only pct is not a good idea especially after 12 weeks on test. And also if you are going on a low carb diet through your pct you will lose alot more of your gains. Its a better idea to use test while doing a weight loss diet so you retain muscle (or even gain a little). Give this a shot if you want and see how it goes. If you end up losing alot and crashing, just run another cycle with a better pct and diet, simple as that.
 
I figure I'll lose some muscle mass doing a cut the way I plan, but that's ok. I've learned so much from this cycle. Going to do some tweeking for my next cycle and am researching what the best AAS is to stack with test-e ,so two next time ,test and ???(looking hard at deca ,EQ or winny) want to put on mass next round......
But I know I can probably safely re-introduce test-e at most any time. I'm also very interested how my body will recover. I've got good genes and there's been more than several times people assumed I was on gear way before I ever tried it.
Thanks for input and please feel free to offer more suggestions I respect every bit of info I get in all my research...........

already planning the next cycle.. i love it! I havn't began my first (March 20th!) and i already have my second planned out and thinking about my third! but i am thinking about doing the npc national collegate competition in July 2006, thats why!
I would say if u want to add more mass next time around,add some deca.. since u know how u react to test now u can introduce another AS. This is what i am going to be doing... dbol+ test E for first , and sust deca for 2nd cycle... i think this will be a great 2nd if you plann out everything before hand.. drop us your cycle so we can critique it and make u as big as possible!

Week 10. Yesterday was the last day of my bulk phase. Had a whole pizza before bed lol.
Total weight gain 25 lbs., from 200 to 225 lbs. At least 10 maybe 15 lbs. of muscle we'll see soon.
Today was day 1 of my cutting phase.
Albuterol 2x a day(first thing in the morning and right after work 3:30 just before I hit the gym)
Green tea in the morning instead of my french roast(arg)
10 grams fish oil a day
MultiV
Green tea extract
Whey protein
Felt good not to eat so much. Had 4 eggs for breakfast , 1/4 lbs turkey and 3 ozs. swiss cheese for lunch , steak/artichoke/salad for dinner also snacked on beef jerky all day 3 oz total. Best guess is only 20 grams of carbs, at least a gallon of water. Today it went well.
Going to update my weight once a week, still undecided on a cheat day hope logging my weight will help keep me on track.
Went to gym today ,back/bi day , had a few problems got a slight strain in my right bi doing curls( it hurts) , doing deads tried doing sets @ 455 lift was easy but first try lost grip on 3rd rep(my right hand, I'm left handed) lost grip on 2nd rep and the same on the 3rd set. Really pissed me off ,never used straps but wish I had and new how to use them today. Rest of workout went well.
Not sure if I'm going to have enough test to finish cycle maybe 3 more shots left (325/1.5cc each) oh well it will be a day of sadness......
 
First full week since I've started cutting. Things are going well ,down to 218.5 from 225. Very limited carb intake days 1-7 carb total=20 , 100 , 50 , 0 , 20 , 150 , 100 , 0.
The albuterol seems to be helping 2x a day @ 4mg each , green tea extract 600mg a day , calcium citrate 1000mg day , milk thistle 300 mg a day , multiV , 8-10 grams fish oil. This next Saturday I'll start PCT nolv 40mg a day first 2 weeks. Took this week off from the gym will start back Monday.
Can tell the good ol love handles are going to be bitch to loose.
Going to go "normal" on all exercises except squats and deads going to hit them heavy.
1 Week out from my last shot and my nipples are no longer sensitive. Took this week off from work just to relax and ended up sleeping ALOT, guess my body need it. I suspect 750 mg week of test-e made me lathargic. Not sure could of been my workouts they were very intense.
If I can keep up the weight loss a current pace 6 weeks of cutting will do it but know between 15% and 10% is going to be tough.
Shit all I can think about is another cycle but I'll give my body the break for awhile and get some blood work done in a few months.
I'll make another post next weekend as always question/comments/suggestion are always welcome.

Hey i would like to get the best out of my first cycle, and i was wondering just about how many times i should lift a day during the cycle of dbol?
 
Little more than 2 weeks from last injection. Down to 215 lbs. The most noticable differance is my shoulder size there a little more rounded/fuller. Some slight defination to upper stomach area but my tummy/love handles still there but progressing well, (I think). Started nolv ,wow some nasty shit fuckin bitter even diluted in a glass of water. But my nipple are no longer sensitive and have gone way down ,guess I had a little gyno but still some left to go down. Moon face has gone away as well as the redness in my face much to my wifes relief.
Well so far my nuts have not shrunk and I'm not as horny but still horny at this point that's to my wifes dissapointment. That's been the hardest(pun) part is wanting to fuck everything.
Tho my diet is somewhat strict I've eaten more calories at times than I want too but so far I've done well ,no crap food all clean. The toughest day was when the family had pizza, it smelled so good. But I held out and had my skinless chicken breast and salad w/dressing.
Still tough here to get out except for skiing and the gym too much snow still on the ground 3-5 feet. Want to go out on my mountain bike real bad.
Things are going well at the gym ,was affraid I was going to lose my strength gains but so far so good. Recovery time after workout has gone way up, before it was 2 days now its about 5-6 for full recovery ,wow I miss that short recovery. The albutrol is a nice little kicker just before the gym but as far as it helping my weight loss cant really say to many other factors.
Thats about it for now, I'll post again in about 2 weeks, hope to be at 200-205 by then. But I expect 205-210 we'll see. I figure once I get back to 200 lbs I'll know what my real gains were...........
 
Just about 4 weeks from last injection and it would be my guess that all the test-e is out of my system. If that's the case my natural test levels are normal, this is a guess from reading my bodies signs. Still taking nolva 20 mg a day ,going to drop to 10 friday.
Well if I am reading my body right than this is great news for me. My system handles test-e well. Nuts never shrunk and still am horny but not as much lol.
Down to 212 and if I were to make an educated guess I'm back to the same BF level I was at when I started (sadly that was about 16-18%) but this would mean a 12 lbs. gain and I can see the differance. Still shooting for 10% BF so I still got some way to go. Still keeping protein high and carbs low. Nibbling on beef jerky and drinking water helps fight the hunger and keeps me from really pigging out.
Bout it for now, will post again in a week or two and post some pic's when I reach 10%bf..........
 
My cutting process is still going well. Now down to 200 lbs. Used up all my alabuterol and stopped taking nolva. It's been several days since I've taken nolva and everything feels normal but still watching myself closely. Guessing I'm at about 12-14% bf with slight ab defination. Guessing 190 will put me at around 10% bf. Bout it for now everything else is going well at the gym just doing maintenance weightlifting for now. Going to kick it up a notch in several weeks. Also seeing some energy/strength loss due to low carb intake..........
