I have a few male friends.

It is really common in England for men and women to be mates, and with a few exceptions, there isn't any of that sexual attraction.

I love it,I watch MMA, boxing or BBing shows with my male friends, go out dancing and shopping with my female friends.

the dynamics are so different for menz and wimminz having friends of the opposite sex.

Truthfully, it's great to have alot of female friends. They make life so much easier. It's much easier to meet other girl (through them directly, or even when out..just because a single girl will be at ease/more approachble if she sees you with other women. If they're attractive, it's even more intriguing)

not only that, but they're great leverage when going out to skip lines, get into VIP Etc.

I always had alot of female friends till i ended up in a serious relationship, and even then I had a few from work. When i became single again, i would meet girls and try to sleep with them instead of picking and choosing my spots.

for both sexes, they serve as a great source for "safe" attention.

Not true, I am proof. I don't go shopping with them, lol. Out to bars and clubs. Because of my job I meet alot of women and we become friends. Occasionally I'll hook up with one, but rarely.
I have more options than a normal guy does for poon, it changes things. I'm never desperate to hook up with woman. I can do that pretty much whenever I want to. It is possible to have friends who are girls, obviously you do not have any which is quite normal. Girls feel comfortable around me because they trust me, but they also think I'm attractive. The whole point of my thread is that the attraction between Men and Woman in these friendships are what is very tricky. if having alot of freinds that are girls makes me gay than I guess you are right though.

Tricky isn't it? Mutual attraction really makes it a weird relationship.
So my friend picks me up and we drive into the Bronx to celebrate her 21st birthday. (yes, I am an old creep )
She has had the same BF for awhile, and they certainly have their ups and downs but she really does love him. I used to be her boss, which is how we became friends. She drove way out of her way to pick me up and she explained me to me how she told her Mom she was hanging out with me and that she thought it was a bad idea. She didn't tell her BF that she was picking me up or hanging out with me at all. So i'll keep it short and just say that we ended up dancing alot, I may have kissed her neck and back at this bar a little , I had my arm around her and we were holding hands in the cab too. When we got back to the apartment by manhattan college (in the BronX lol) we were beyond fucked up and I pulled her into the couch I was laying on and she layed down with me for a little bit. Now if hooking up with her was my top priority I'm sure i coulda pulled it off as she really likes me and would do it just make me happy at the very least. We both had a great time and it may escalate who knows. I donot know her BF at all BTW, so I'm sure everyone will say I should just hook-up with her. I like being friends with her and I don't wanna cause problems in her relationship. I do like her though, the age difference is the only reason I wouldn't wanna have her as a GF I think.
