Stats

Thanks for the kind words, and suggestions on the FAT is noted. Lower BF% is in progress. I hope to post some pics later in the summer showing some signs that I have abs.

Measurements...
Dunno, really. I haven't measured in years, literally.
Hmm...where is the tape. I am 5'10 and 225(again). Dunno my BF, in the past 3 weeks I have measured at 14, 12, 16 in order, and I KNOW that I have been losing BF...those measures make no sense...so I don't really have a clue.

I do BUST MY ASS on leg day, even though I don't squat often...(note the deadlift scar on the tibia, backday, but still).
I haven't done real squats 'seriously' in years. I train calves half-ass maybe once a month. I free squat once a month. I typically do smith squats, presses and hacks on occassion. I did high rep heavy squats on Sunday (puked my ass off), so there is likely some residual pump, but I am truly cold and relaxed. I play hooker in rugby, believe me there is plenty of leg strength involved there. I'm actually as fast as many wings. I'm no Jonah Lomu (read: Superman), but a hooker as fast as wings is like a center as fast as a wide reciever.

I seriously need to work on upper body, that I know.

I think i have decent genetics as far as shape, origins, insertions go, but putting on LBM is tough. I get skinny real quick.

Thanks again.

Quads 27-smaller than I remember...

Calves 18-holy shit I had no idea!!!

Biceps 18-finally, thought I'd never get there again

Forearms 13.5-smallest on the board I bet, bet me!
I think 15.5 would be proportioned-what do you think?

Neck 18

Waist....38-fuck me:(

Can't really get an accurate chest measure by myself.

38w, I must have liposuction tomorrow. I don't even like doughnuts, damn.

your legs are huge! i think people on the boards are way to focused on being cut. i am not saying be a fat slob but bro if you lost a couple pounds you would look awsome. up the cardio and cut the cheat meals and it will be all good,Luke

Your legs appear to be your best feature... that's cool in my book. Very thick.

It's amazing that you get that way from not squatting for "real." Here I am busting my ass on squats and not enjoying it at all. And all I'm developing is my neck and traps :)

Muscle Memory

Well that's what Weider would say.

Honestly I have been in much better shape, especially my legs. I hate that, saying..."I used to..." that is why i am back trying to bust my ass into shape, cause I hate saying "used to be" or "could have been".

Back in the day I squatted religiously for years and my quads reached 34 inches at their peak. I have the nastiest stretch marks on my glute-ham tie-in and between my legs. Bleeding stretch marks. I must have passed out 20 times from leg day. My routine was, squat about 10 sets heavy and high rep, puke, sleep half an hour in the locker room, wake, drink carbo force, leg press about 10 sets, crawl across the street to the buffet and eat for 3 hours. No joke, this is truly what I did. I have maybe a 5th of that attitude and dedication now and it shows. The beauty was, I loved it, why...cause I could see my legs grow weekly!!! Those that are young and avoid squatting for no good reason, you are making a huge mistake. like the t-shirt says, "SHUT UP AND SQUAT!"

I will be on this board for while, I will be making progress and I will go to sleep now.

You've got some good shaped muscle bellies under there. What you need to do is focus on your training more, like you did in the old days. I know it feels like it all gets harder as the years go by both physically and through other commitments but you can do it. You need to write in a diary what days you are training and never miss for anything. Instead of doing calves once a month half heartedly and legs every now and then, hit them hard every week, as the rest of your body. You can work around things like your Rugby and other comitments if you plan well. Since I started training for my comp I have not had a single day off, 5 days a week for 3 months. Consistancy is the real key. Show all these young 'uns that you ain't done yet and in a couple of months let's see some pics up that blow us all away.

Your leg development is ahead of your upper body. You don't look ecto, as people tell you to cut up, that tells you that you should have trouble putting on weight. Check your diet. High protein will do your body good, trust me.
