Frantz Briefs And Suit

spatts

High End Bro
Platinum
I got them literally 4 days after the transaction hit my credit card. They seem to be perfect, as in it took 30 mins to get the briefs on, but they went on. Suit kinda went on. I was getting too hot and agitated, but it will go on, barely. As far as I can tell if it were any tighter, it just wouldn't go on at all, which I think it JUST RIGHT. I haven't pulled up the straps yet though, and that's the ultimate test since I'm all torso. I'll test them out tmw night.

I just wanted to comment on the turnaround time and fit. I couldn't ask for better service, and I'm not exactly an "off the rack" person.

LOL..I couldn't even get into my wide squat STANCE with it on, let alone bend at the knee! Should be interesting.

I'm not having much luck with the shirt. :(

youll get the suit to work, it just may take some weight you havent handled yet to get down to depth, but you will come back up :) what is going on with the shirt, are you having a hard time with the groove, is it not tight enough in the chest? send me a pm or catch me on aim sometime.

Argent: DP

Liftbig: The shirt I just am not used to, and the learning curve seems to be flatlined.

I did speed squats in my briefs today then decided to suit up to work on the suit again. It only took about 30-40 minutes to get on  .

I managed a 333 squat to parallel, with suit and belt only (couldn't get 285 to parallel the first time I used it). The 333 sprang up. I have so much appreciation for knee wraps and monolifts! If I'd had either today, it would've been much easier.

I think I'm going to like this suit. As I practice with it, it's getting better each time.

I like the way it stays down on my leg too, rather than riding up every time I sit back.

I haven't done a 1RM in full gear yet...probably won't until the comp. My best comp squat is only 365, so obviously I would like to out-do that. Today's felt pretty easy, but I was just ready to get out of the suit. I didn't want to work up to a max.

I'm not familiar with what you ordered.

It is the line of gear that Ano Turt(not even gonna try to spell it)
sells. It is called Go Metal. I actually got it through Brent Mikesell's website. The material is ridiulous. It has no give. Amazing support!

Dave Tate will be a main seller of that gear soon, the material reminds me of the Boss material alot, seems to be cut different and very well fitted. Amy Weisberger uses their shirts alot too.

Any success stories/war stories re: this gear in your crowd, DBC? I imagine if Tate's going to sell it that some WSBers have tried it.

I know Dave has been talking about their deadlift suit...seems to be working for him. I know that Bob has been saying he is going to be giving it a try.

I know he likes the deadlift suit alot, I was looking at getting a squat suit since I never got a new Boss suit, I like the rebound of Frantz's breifs and the lock-you up-and-stop you-like a canvas of the metal/boss stuff. Of course Ano wears them along with others from his gym and they are very good lifters. Overall everyone thinks they are very well made and durable, not many have tried them in a comp, alot still like their canvas gear.

Have to wait and see what I think of my Frantz double poly before I look into the Metal stuff. Have a Frantz Canvas...but I don't think it is ready for me.

:lmao:

Got My Frantz double poly suit and briefs in the mail today(Sat)!!

Shitty part is they were in the mail after I came back from Tulsa to lift with benchmonster and his group of no-neck cronies.

Would have been nice to have those with me, plus some decent spotters from Real Gym. Oh well, just gonna have to try them Wed or Thurs and see how it goes.

Later...

No neck Cronies. . . hahaha

yeah, if you show up with less than a 19 inch neck in that crowd, you are a pencil neck. tee hee.

That sux that you did not get that suit in till you got back. Would have been a good chance to get some work in from the monolift in full gear.

If you are squatting next Saturday, bring all your gear and come on down. I think everyone will be taking thier last workout before the meet on that day. I got to get some tailoring done to my Karin's, to tighten up those legs, and maybe I can finally hit a decent squat.
