Hey props to you for being up front about the reality of the 600.
I know a lot of people say it is best to learn on a dirt bike.

I learned only last year, so at 28. My first and only bike is GSXR-600 2006 and I do not recommend it as a learning bike at all. I made a huge mistake. I think I should have bought first any of those scooter bikes to get used to the idea of being on the road among cars. If you want more advice, PBR and Patsfan can help better

And, yeah, I would agree on the dirt bike, I heard a lot of people recomending them as awesome learning bikes. And they are fun

I had a few dirt bikes when I was younger...250 was the biggest I had.think I could learn to ride a cycle pretty easy.
