For married peeps - how old were you when you got married?

Why the hell do people get married so friggin young??

Almost every single one of my friends got married in their very early twenties and ALL are divorced with kids. Makes no sense to me to rush to get married before you really even know yourself.

of course it depends on the person, but IMO 30 and over is a better age for making a decision about marriage.

#1 -- 21 (found out later my hubby married me cuz of the "I have to get married NOW" thing -- all his friends were getting married, soooo he was 29); got divorced at age 26.....

#2 -- 32
