flax vs fish oil

I've been taking 2-3 fish oil caps a day.. I don't have flax right now.

Which one is more beneficial? Should I take both? How much of both should I take?
 
fish oil is more beneficial.
you need to take 10-15 or more caps a day though.
you should be aiming for 2+gr of EPA/DHA total a day.
 
This is a great question! I'm wondering too..

Flax = Uncoupler although slight
Fish = PAAR activated oxidation of fatty acid and leptin sensitivity improvement plus general change of body chem towards that of a lean person.

Millie have you found a good product with a good EPA/DHA ration?
 
The "good" ones I have seen sold over the internet are just too expensive IMO and not worth it.

My EFA intake consists of UDO's and 5-10 salmon oil caps per day. I just take a no name brand of pills, which have about 320mg of EPA/DHA each.
There were some threads in the women's board some time ago, where the experts advised of the combination of UDO's and 1-2gr EPA/DHA daily. That has been working pretty well for me.
 
Cod liver oil is dirt cheap and have a good EPA/DHA profile
 
True, but there is no only much healthy crap I can stomach :)

I hate seafood, so just the thought of cod liver oil makes me sick. That's why I've chosen to take the pills. :)
 
Shark oil. Greenland shark, to be precise, is the best there is. Fresh Cod Oil pretty damn good too.

if the caps are taken is there any disadvantage to having hundreds of caps dissolving in your stomach every month?
