First timers

For you guys who've competed, whats the standard usually like at small local shows for the first timers?

I need to know if I could get into good enough shape with 6 weeks diet/cardio/supps not to be laughed offstage or just forget it and think about competing next year (going on my avatar pic heh) :coffee:
 
You'd be suprised at the conditioning that some people show up in. You may not be able to win a show with only 6 weeks of preparation (depending on how fat you are now), but you won't get laughed off if you put solid effort into your diet.
 
My legs are way better than my upper body :( thanks guys, I decided not to bother... theres no way I could get down to 5-6% in the time left and even though the other guys in the 1st timers look like shit thats no reason for me to make a fool of myself.

good advice on attending a few shows first
