First Timer Still Researching

I am thinking of getting gear but I don't really know what would be the best for me. I here a million different things for everyone but none I feel apply to me. I'm looking to get nice strength gains..size gains aren't too important but wouldn't mind'em...I would like to drop body fat and get some muscle definition. I have a good base but I am a hard gainer.

24yo male....6' 1" 230lbs.
10 yrs lifting experience
BF%-18

Any info would help greatly and if I left out anything important let me know.
 
Do some background reading on hard gainers... It sounds like you may want to do a Winstrol/Test cycle. You will need to do a lot more reasearch on google to develop your cycle.

Here is a pic to give you an idea of my situation...It's the only one I have and I don't have a camera. I'm mainly concerned about the gut and love handles.

What I mean by hard gainer is not body weight....I can gain and drop 25lbs like nothing,yes most is fat but that is during the winter and then towards end of spring I start to lose again. My hard gaining is in muscle size..My diet right now consists of rice and beef and whatever is at the chow hall..military.
 
i would say diet down to about 10-12% bf... this should only take a few months. during that time figure out a good plan for your 1st. test E for 12 weeks would be a good choice.
