First time bulking, have a question....

I started bulking on monday, and my stomache has gotten a good size bigger from monday to today (friday). This normal for the first week bulking? I weigh 150-160 , I am taking in 3000 calories a day from clean foods. I also started 10-20g creatine a day, first time taking it so I think all the extra in my mid-section may be water but I am not sure. Just thought i'd ask. Thanks

You probably retained some water, and if have those bad genetics you might have gained some fat.

So should I lower my calorie total or just bulk for a month instead of two?

NO, don't do anything. It's only been a week. Wait for at least 6 weeks.

i wouldnt worry too much about it bro i weighed about 212lbs when i was bulking and i thought my stomach was ridiculously fat but after cutting my diet back to normal i must've pissed off 10 lbs of carbohydrate bloat, and thats when i really saw my gains....if you are looking to get bigger you might as well go all out and gain some bodyfat just for the greater muscle gains you will make from getting the excess calories and nutrients, just try to keep your diet clean and watch the carbs late at night and that should help you stay on the leaner side
 
Thanks, I have one more question do you bulk through the weekend, since its two days without working out? Or should I do a matience diet?

Read my 2 BULKING up manuals, STICKY ON TOP OF THE PAGE...

I would keep at BMR during the weekend......

Thanks, I will do that, and BMR is x15 right? or 12?
 
Unfortunatly part of a good bulking program is getting a little chubby, it's very normal for anyone to gain a bit of fat but with that fat comes muscle. Almost NOONE can gain alot of muscle without a noticeable bit of fat, most body builders look like fat tanks on the off contest season, (look in any muscle magazine under the before and after pictures of fat loss drugs, those guys are ALL bodybuilders in their off contest season, its not like you cant tell, they have huge chests and huge shoulders just a little chubby) ignore the fat; unless all you're gaining is fat.

Just remember not to fuck up the cutting cycle, you don't want any unneccesary muscle loss. Check out crumbcakes ultimate diet when you decide to cut up.
