First job

go all the way back to black and white and the need for a loose cannon was considered
 
First job, bailing hay and general farm labor for $2.00 an hour. However, I had been doing that kind of labor for years under the guise of chores so it's hard to say where chores ended and work life began; I was operating farm machinery as early as nine and driving on public roads by twelve.

Let me know when you learn how to spell...I could spell corps in grade school pretty easily..Lieutenant took some memorization...just sayin.

I don't expect much from you intellectually since you decided to join the corps voluntarily as opposed to be pressed into service but you should be able to spell half the service you joined correctly and yet you fail at that...

I am not misspelling anything. I am using "core" on purpose. I do not know what outfit you were in, but in 1st Battalion 9th Marines out of Camp Pendelton from 1989-1993, we called the Marines "the core." Even the 'brass" referred to the "corps" as the "core." It is "informal" or a "secrete code," this site is hardly formal. Sorry to irritate you, but you should know where I am going with all this.

I lifeguarded at a children's home (not PC version: orphanage) when I was in high school, hands down worst job EVER invented.

They didn't listen to shit and they had no problem hitting or kicking us. Out of control. Though I suppose I should've known what I was getting myself in to when I signed the waiver stating that'd probably happen.
 
There's still lifeguards on the east coast? I haven't seen an open lifeguard station in at least a decade. We have signs warning people their gonna drown instead.

Our beaches here in space coast fl have life guards, mostly cocoa beach.

lol @ those; Mexican 18 gauge cannons. I had a guy that went to school in San Diego and brought back massive amounts of testoprim-d for rock bottom prices when he visited home...he didn't even bother to remove them from the duct tape they used to tape them to their body as they smuggled them across the border.
