"to those above saying you need more food or more protein, this is not the problem as the OP is overweight, if he was an ectomorph and skinny then that would be my recommendation. in his case he has to get that body fat cut down to probably the low teens as his goals are not strength but definition. i think 90% of posters on this forum want to be strong but also want to look good... this is achieveable but it takes a lot of hard work and understanding what works and what doesn't.. only experience will guide you."

That's all well and good, but he hasn't specifically said he wants to "cut" as such, and increasing protein and decreasing carb, macro wise would be beneficial to maintaining current muscle... While improving lean body comp. Having too low protein is detrimental on or off cycle whether youre cutting or bulking isn't it? Just curious guys!
