I liked the way it felt....I totally got the endorphin rush from it. I'd like to get some more.....ribcage tho....that's gotta be tender. You're a tough guy!

Yeah I totally dig the endorphin rush from it. I've got almost all the super painful places now. So far I have spine, inside of both arms, ribs, neck, and hamstring. Only spots left that most people cringe about are lower back and ankle.

I only got some spine and a little bit of the back of my neck... I'd like to get the rest of my back done though.....that's gonna take some time and dinero...

I want to get a bunch more stuff done but time and money don't come easy. I've already got thousands of dollars in ink and a lot of open space to go.

It's very personal and relevant for the rest of my life...the unofficial symbol for recovery for eating disorders...



It would be small...the size of my thumbnail maybe...

I'd say hip or maybe back of the shoulder. That way it's easy to conceal but also easily shown to people you wish to share it with without putting it in a more revealing spot.

I'm glad you are choosing something with personal meaning, so many people just get one to get one.

Those were actually the two places I was considering. I'll probably go with hip. Agreed about the personal meaning...I'd only do it for something like that.

FYI...most artists are going to tell you the size of thumbnail is a bad idea. Even though that is a relatively simple design anything that small isn't going to look right, and over time will get "muddy".

Any artist that would put something that small on you IMO isn't a good artist and you should probably stay away from them.

unless of coarse you have some enormous hands.

lol, I have tiny hands, but nice, long, well kept nails.

still....I would never get a tattoo only the size of a nail. I think you going to have to go a lil bigger than that for it to look right.

(shrug) if I have to go bigger I won't get it done...but I've seen tatoos the size im thinking that look fine. It's personal, for me only, and I want to be able to easily hide it.

Looks like some solid work.

I couldn't ever go somewhere else, my artist is like family to me. Hell my parents hang out with her from time to time.

I think maybe my idea of a thumbnail and yours might be different. Just be sure to discuss it with your artist prior to getting inked.

Oh...and prepare to be addicted. :)
