Like many of my friends, I’ve known for quite some time about the fact that Chick-Fil-A donates millions of dollars of their profits to organizations such as Family Research Council, Exodus International, Focus on the Family, etc. The names of these groups sound harmless enough, but they are anything but. These are groups that not only actively try to prohibit gay marriage; they help fund groups that want to make it legal to be fired from your job for being gay, groups that want to deport gay citizens out of the country and groups that support legislature intended to legalize the execution of gay people. Harmless, indeed.

I personally am all for gay marriage but I could care less about the companies stance. It's not like they beat a gay person with every combo meal you order.

A meal can be a meal, not everything needs to be a political statement.

Only in America can our priorities be so warped that this is what we care about. 140 people were killed in Syria today fighting for freedom and there's been 2 major shootings in the US in under a month. This is what we bitch about?

The first ammendment says you have freedom of speech. It doesn't say there will be no consequences to your speech.
