Finally did some front squats

This is like the 3d try on doing front squats. Before I was holding the bar wrong or something and it was sliding off, but today I got it nicely into the pocket. I have to wiggle around a lot to get it behind the lateral delt and seated on the clavicle without choking me. Well, it choked me a little, but I can deal with that.

Got up to 2 sets of 140x4. Not much weight but good for a first time. It felt good too. Quads are hurting now. :) Right one hurts a lot more than the left, not sure why. Maybe I favor my left since my left knee hurts on squats.
 
I remember when i was skinnier, there was no way I could do front squats. Now I have enough meat that they bar sits in the slot nicely.
 
i started doing front squats after i basically got tired of hack squats (no progress for about a month), i was always kinda scared of them because i used to rest the bar way too far forward, now it rests in the pocket, right next to my collarbones and throat..

the choking just reminds you not to fall backwards and snap your neck in half, its a good thing
