Well, Feisty and I did hit it off very well when I went down there, but one night while I was talking to my kids on the phone, she decided that she did not want to be the reason that I moved away from my kids. She said she could not live with herself if it scarred my kids by me moving away.

As hard as it was to accept, I honored her wishes and we decided to put our relationship on indefinate hold. We both still love eachother very much and believe we have been given so much just by getting to meet!

Maybe someday, we can try again, but for now we have decided to be friends only. It is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through but it is for the best, at least for now.

Just wanted to let everyone know since I was getting so many asking how things went.

I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work out exactly as planned bro.

That takes a lot of balls to post this too, but since you guys were pretty open about your meeting and the high hopes, it makes sense. This way the rumors won't start and you won't get quite as many PMs.

You are a good bro, one of the best on this board, and I wish you the best. I hope the trip was still fun although it seems to have included some heartache as well. Sounds like you have a great family man, which is valuable in its own right.

I am glad that you 2 at least are staying friends......its hard to be a friend when there is more intense feelings into the relationship. I wish you all the best and I hope its gonna work out the way its suppose to be at the end of the road

We had a great time! She is the best thing that ever happened to me!! I don't think I will ever love anyone like I love her!

Yup! She spent our last hour together with me in the airport, in my arms. It was all I had to let her leave.

That's exactly what I wanted to avoid! When I got back here and saw all the relationship drama threads, I knew I had to make it public.

I mean shit, what were we gonna do, just pretend?? It was the most anticipated meet-up of the year for crying out loud! LOL! How were we gonna hide it?

It was one of the questions I posed to you and got no answer to on a previous thread. You are going to leave your kids behind? In the end, you couldn't do it. And neither should you have. Best wishes to both of you.

I have to agree, nothing beats home cooked Southern meals. I'm gonna miss mom's cooking when I move to Baltimore.

We drove all the way out to T Bobs and they were closed. So we went over to Richard's. It was pretty damn good but I'm sure your cookin is better! ;)

at the risk of being the asshole... sounds to me like they didnt hit it off as much as he thinks... but thats my opinion.

You dont sound like an asshole. You just sound like a man who doesnt have children.

The same thing happened to me several months back only he was not capable of remaining friends with me. Or maybe he thought it would be easier on me if he just cut things off. I'll never know and it doesnt matter much now anyway.

I miss him very much but he was right. It simply could not have worked. We just never expected to hit it off so well.

no prob. you are entitled to your opinion. but you're wrong. we hit it off extremeley well and she will and has verified that fact. she was respectful enough to take my kids into consideration instead of just being selfish and looking past them.

we will remain best friends and we still love eachother more than any other we have loved before.
