Well the food is a issue. just becuase the lady you speak of was crazy obsessed about her weight and the kid rebelled and gained weight later.
Don't worry that is not even the issue in the this case.This case the mother is a fat cow and her duaghter is already morbidley obese. dps is asking advice on if she should call the mom out on the carpet about it.she already knows the whole nutrition thing becuase her duaghter is in shape. She is asking how do I go about having my sister tell her kids and make her kids eat healthy when she herself is a beast

I don't remember where I heard this, but it took me a REALLY long time to absolutely get it:

1. Fat people know they're fat.

2. Smokers know that cigarettes kill you.

3. Assholes really don't care they were rude/thoughtless/ignorant/etc.

Said another way: Pointing out the obvious to someone is very much like teaching a pig to sing, it wastes your time and annoys the pig.

Sad fact in america is usually 90% of the time fat parents = fat kids.

I'm sure the tendency is towards fat parents raise fat children, but I don't think the percentage is that high.

These days it seems that a lot of permissive parents, or just ones with poor parenting skills, either allow their gluttoneous kids to eat all they want or use food as a pacifer. The parents themselves may have pretty good eating and/or exercise habits, but the child learns to think of food as security or entertainment, and end up fat by the time they start school.

yeah she doesn't really care about anything that has to do with fitness which is odd because she used to model. YUP believe it or not she was the hot chick in high school. Super skinny, big boobs, long legs. THen she started popping kids out and didn't care much about anything after that. When I work out outside I invite her and I get the usual ughhh no its hot outside.
