Fantasy fball virgnerds - quick 6 week update!

Give me your updates, future plans as Head Nerd Virgin Loser GM, key moves made this yr.

After a decent draft, I have brilliantly managed and coached this team to a 5-1 record, tied for first in the overall league (of course the other 5-1 fuckface is in my division).

Team I drafted (we start QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, DST, K):

QB: Matt Hasselfuck
RB: Travis Henry
RB: Willie Parker
WR: Braylon Edwards
WR: Javon Walker
WR: Anthony Gonzalez (seriously)
TE: Vernon Douchebag
K: Vinatieri
DST: Baltimore

Backup QB: Big Ben
Backup RB: LenDale White and I don't remember who
Backup WR: I don't remember who

Key moves made:
- Picked up Derrick Mason week 2 on a hunch, which turned out huge cause I've been starting him ever since (thanks for showing up, Javon)
- Picked up Owen Daniels week 1 on a hunch, which also turned out huge cause I dropped Douchebag and been starting him ever since (Vernon the Frail)
- Picked up P Crayton 3 weeks ago and been starting him since
- Dropped LenDale then picked him up again, which turned out nice cause he started for me last week and got me 12

Key win:
Last week I had Henry, Parker, Javon, Vinatieri all out. Not looking good. Luckily I am a genius and started LenDale, Phil Dawson and Patrick Crayton. My opponent also had a terrible week.
I'm happy with my waiver wire moves, which have saved me. Unfortunately, I'm fucked when Stoner Henry takes a 365 day vaca from being useful to anyone. LenDale will have to start. There is NOBODY available in my league (including Bennett and Selvin Young).

selvin young will pick right up where henry left off. I am currently 4w-2l in both leagues but if I would have not wasted my time with dueche mcallister in the first few weeks I'd be 6-0 in one league.

But also walker will be back soon and help you out in the later stretch. Sometimes its better to have guys blowin up in th 2nd half of the season.

I've always played 12 team leagues, I think it's perfect. 10 seems too easy almost. It's good when you have to make waiver wire moves and start guys like D Mason and Patrick Crayton.

I picked up and start crayton in one of my leagues. I had to grab someone because I traded anquan boldin for edgerrin james in wk 3 and I had to work with reggie wayne, torry holt, and either shaun mcdonald, and some other asswipe plus I had bye week troubles. So far crayton has been solid. Plus I got adrian peterson late in the draft.

Me too. My thing is pick up random long-shot peeps week 1 or 2 that I think will do something later. Like Mason and Gonzales. I thought Gonzalez may be the perfect slot receiver (a la stokley) in that offense, but apparently he has a case of the dropsies.

I had the highest points in week 1 and 2, and i got fuckin owned by injuries, possible suspensions and just underacheiving.

I'm now 3-3....

i'm in 4 leagues all big money prizes and i'm in top 5 in all 4 .. 14 per league..

i'm 5-1 in one league and 3 and 3 in another. in my 3-3 league my entire receiving core of marvin harrison, hines ward, and terry glenn got taken out by injuries - but at least two of them are back now. But the biggest factor has been drew brees. i started him for the first 3 games and lost them all, and i won the last 3 with tony romo. my two running completely TAKING OVER hasn't hurt either. my current starters:

i'm fucked hard for tight end in my 5-1 league with benjamin watson gettign injured; i had to pick up fucking marcedes lewis. for some reason everyone in my league has 2 tight ends and they're all the top 20 tight ends. virgnerds for sure. the wide receiver situation is weird because the league is set to give almost nothing for tds, and points for catches and like 20 yards. so wide receivers who may be shite in other leagues are decent plays here. roster is
