Some 45 year old dude passed himself off as a 14 year old boy to hit on little girls on myspace. 2 16 year old boys passed themselves off as a 12 year old girl and arranged a meeting with him. They wound up beating him nearly to death in a park. Its easy to spot a fake 14 year old. They offer to meet you 800 miles from their home. If she is of age, she should be able to afford to travel.

Lots of people pose on the internet. There are some genuine ones, but plenty of fakers.
