I just have been around lots of people -- the richest of the rich and the poorest of the poor. Most of those who have had something for a while, see no reason to brag incessantly about it. I have always found that people who boast about a particular facet of their lives, such as wealth, looks, prowess with the opposite sex, are compensating for an insecurity about something they place a high value upon. Usually, the ones who brag about bringing in the opposite sex feel insecure that they are not so successful at it. Same applies for money and looks. If you have it, you can move on to other topics or make some self deprecating jokes about it.

Here's what's wierd... HR seems to enjoy calling me out, but I've never tried to hide my identity here on EF. Under "location" in my avitar I listed Knoxville, TN. My myspace page URL (which several few EF'ers have in their friends list) is simply my first and last name catenated together too. You'd think a super-slueth lawyer like HR or an ultra-connected captain of industry like GoM could go do a little research and figure it all out

Oh... and I just realized. That God-awful court-ordered psychological review of Bikinipsycho the emailed to me (and why she did it is still a mystery to me) was an email address at my first initial (which stands for Brian) and my last name catenated together too.

Maybe they just aren't all that clever...
