I'm a very laxed chick... don't take much serious. Working in the oil field for 5+ years you learn to just tune shit out and let it go...

I don't get offended easily but enough is e-fucking-nough.

I can't even wear a damn skirt to work without hearing some lude ass comment and It's starting to piss me off.

PS - the way I see it, it all balances out in the end. for every time a man makes a comment of some sort on a woman's dress/body at work, a woman somewhere else is getting opportunities a man won't because of her dress/body.

true.... My boss is an exception and can give a shit less what I look like how I dress etc. Only job performance has ever gotten me anywhere.

I respect him alot for that. He doesn't make one damn exception for me just 'because' I have tits and a vagina.. LOL.

When he said that, I told him not in this fucking lifetime... and walked away. There is only a half a' handfull that jokingly say shit, and for the most part the welders never have made me feel uncomfortable but there is one in particular that is starting to weird me out.

I have the same problem. It's hard finding clothes that don't accentuate certain things. Lucky for me I work with a bunch of attorneys. They know better; they wait for the female to leave the room.

You are right, that doesn't give him the right to say anything.

I know exactly how you feel! All day I have women making inappropriate comments to me...copping a feel...dropping something so I have to bend over and pick it up..."accidently" spilling something on my pants, so I have to take them off...etc

My pt is its starting to make for a very uncomfortable enviroment here at work for me. I shouldn't have to wear turtle necks and baggy slacks everyday to work in fear that some moron can't hold his tongue until I leave the room... or better yet... prance into my office and say what he has to say.

I work in a freaking peyton place, people having affairs, guys acting like they have never seen a woman before, much less an attractive woman, but I have never heard of one asking to see her boobs. :worried:

I am now forced to dress appropriate... for the first two years working here I wore sweats and a tee shirt and tennis shoes. Now in a different location and having to deal with the owner walking in with bankers, investors, and needing me to show models and drawings etc.. I kinda have to be presentable.

Most of the time i wear jeans and a nice top.. mainly because I do have to go out in the field and take measurments. This is maybe the 5or 6th time in five years that I've worn a skirt.

A few things going on now with the company keep me from blowing a gasket.. seriously..

this same guy, who'm might I add, I work with alot, he's the shop foreman and I am the person in charge of making sure he has the correct drawings and if not making changes etc...

well, we have butted heads before... I've already told him in a not so nice way.. To get the fuck out of my office and if he had a problem with me go speak to My boss.. I didn't have time for his petty bull shit... (way to long of a story behind this) Both he and i are important to the company esp right now... under deadlines, etc.

Now do I walk on in and get him or possibly even myself fired? Would this make my job any easier if he were fired? I have enough on him to file suit.. more than just today.

I am at WORK, and keep it always on a professional level. I haven't the desire nor the need to try to get attention from anyone. I had an appointment today so instead of my usual jeans I wear a skirt and get crap for it...!!!!!

I just walked across campus to lunch. We have quite a number

This type of argument would actually make some sort of sense if Frisky was wearing a skirt that is 1 inch past her crotch & a deep-V shirt with lots of cleavage....

But it's not inviting attention simply to be wearing a skirt in an office setting -- especially a skirt that is 1" or 2" above the knee. That skirt length is a standard skirt length and is certainly FAR from being slutty or hookerish.

hunny... asking to see you boobs is DEFIANTLY crossing the line!! you can't help that you look good.. and I am sure you don't mind people looking just keep your crappy comment to themselves...

this is what I would do.. get a tape recorder. wear another skirt suit to work tomorrow... make sure your boss sees what you are wearing... then when that asshole comes in and makes his comments tape the fucker and bring it right to your boss... they can not fire you.. and if they did you could sue the fuck out of them for ignoring the problem...

Every dog has his day.. ya know, I refuse to feel uncomfortable at a workplace that i've been in for over 5 years. He's crossed the line one to many times and I can't and won't stand for it anymore.

If i were to give advice to a daughter or someone I loved in this situation, I'd tell them to pin his ass to the wall by his balls and ask him 'what was that.. sorry, I missed what you asked me' .. of course we never take our own advice.
