EVO Sports????

Ok I've heard of this new work out program, it's evo sports. I don't know how good it is though. The workouts are all position holds. Ex. 5lb db, one leg squat and hold it for 45 sec., it usually consists of 10 sets. There is a ton of different exercises but yall get the drift, it's all holds. What do yall think about this, what are the pros and cons? I've been told that it stretches out your muscles with out any stretching at all. This program was created by a crazy doctor in mineapolis. This sounds pretty sketchy to me, i heard the doctor speak at a clinic one time and the first thing he said was, "I can make anyone gain 200 lbs on their bench in 2 months." Thats insanity!! Anyone ever heard of this? Flames welcome.
 
Based solely on that ridiculous claim you can pretty much discard it. If it sounds too good to be tue it probably is.
 
Specificity is the key, so if you want to be really strong at holding a weight then do it. if you want to be strong lifting a weight then do dynamic lifts.

ya i heard about some football players doing it.... i heard it even helps their speed with out any running... to me this sounds like bs. i just dont get whats so fun about holding weights?
