Ephedrine affecting short term memory?

I know ephedrine is basically an amphetimine (sp) right? Hmm, I never used to have a problem with this before, and the only thing I'm noticing is that I'm using that bolt ephedrine again. Anyone else comment? Perhpas this is a sign. I've been using it on and off for years, never had a problem until recently.

Nope, if anything it helps me remember stuff easier....

Really? I thought it was chemically similar to certain amphetemines (cocaine?) and methamphetimines, which create excessive amounts of dopemine, which can really reduce your short-term memory. I could of course have this all backwards, and not know what I'm talking about. Any other comments?

I've been taking the stuff for years and eat it like candy when I'm at the race track on my superbike. You better believe that short term memory is important when going through a blind kink at 160mph at full lean at a track I've never been to before. Knowing how much asphalt is left when you’ve only seen the track twice is a necessity!

My point is I’ve never had a problem with short term memory and ephedrine…

I know that it "does", um,......err.....................

I gotcha. Perhaps it's something else. Strange.

I gotta admit bro, I have no science to back up what I posted earlier about ephedrine not giving me short term memory loss..... Just going off what my experience is..... Hope you get to the bottom of it.....

ur right about the similarity to amph and the theoretical possible side, but I havent seen any studies supporting it (dont mean they dont exist) and havent had the prob myself (and I've been taking it off and on for at least 5 years. what was the question again?

Hmmm, overuse of it can really mess up your CNS though I think, maybe a link with memory somehow there? Hmmm....I know Mr. X at one point said he had some horrible sides from stimulants....Mr. X?

Ummmm,...........What I was trying to say is,...............errr,.................
