Everyone, the fact remains that he got fatter on the cycle... and some of you want him to up his carbs? WTF? Looking at that diet, he should have gotten leaner. He's at around 2000 kCal/day. Something is amiss here... low cals, intense weightlifting, gain weight, get fatter? This is impossible unless he was injecting glucocorticoids instead of anabolic steroids.
Well perhaps more carbohydrates, just more placed post workout drink + meal, and more protien at all other times and with post workout + meal... and some more healthy fats in there. That should help greatly, but even like 2000 cals and weighing in 180-high 190 range 2000 cals for a bodybuilder is quite small.. and I think that's probably the reason he didn't gain as much as hoped, and the fat gain due to hormonal/enzymal responses during incorrect times for quantities of food...
the only meals i kept under control were my post workout shakes.other than that i watched my carb intakes and my fat intake/protein intake were almost outta control.i generally WOULD put in cheat meals such as peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or somethin high in calories if i was coming short, but i would try and aim for 3k cals every day.
