my mother needs a transfusion, we share a rare blood type, B-. i know to lie in the questioniare aout never using needles for drug use, but i am in the middle of a high dose cycle. will my blood get red flagged, or will it go throught the testing process with no proble, and MOST importantly if it does get approved for transfusion will the AAS in my blood supply mess her up????

PLEASE help i am expected to give blood by tonight at 7 or tomorrow the latest. THANKS

if you don't actualy know anything please don't post your opinion, this is very important, no room for speculation, thankls

What does she need the tranfusion for? If she is going to have surgery and you are being relied on for your blood you'd damn well better come clean before this happens.

Regardless, because you are in the middle of a high dose cycle you'd damn well better come clean before you donate.

Good luck, wishing the best for your mom.

People on perscribed steroids are not supposed to donate blood. Any individual that has ever taken non-perscribed steroids is forever prohibited from donating blood.

That's right, if you've used Needles to self administer drugs, you cannot donate blood.

Hope everything works out for you and your mother.

i know you cant donate when you have done self injections, but thats not a issue to me, what is a issue is if the blood in my system will fuck up my mother or if their is any point in donating. when donating blood the hospial does checks to make sure its clean of disease and other stuff, will the AAs in my system throw up red flags on these tests and most importantly will the AAs in my system mess up my mother, my mother is a chemo patient and her platelets(SP) are low, thats why she needs me to give her blood, this is the first time this has happend. will the AAS in my system hurt my mother, she is a hepatitus C patient undergoing interferon and chemo who needs a transfusion to raise her platelett(SP) levels???

i know i am not "supposed " to give blood becasuse of self injections but i use clean needles every time so its not the issue i am concerned with, i am concerned with the AAS levels in my blood having some negative effect on my mother.

DR's and GURUS please. KARMA to you all.

and please don't flame me this is a real concern

I understand you are not worried about disease associated with "needle users" that is the cause for the formal ban on donation. I assume you have never shared a needle and practice clean technique.

However, the drugs in your blood are a concern. Perhaps there are interaction issues. Perhaps there are immune responce issues. Perhaps there are issues directly related to the action of the drugs in your system. Hell, perhaps your increased RBC count due to the EQ and d-bol would be of some benifit.

Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps...

DO NOT GET TALKED INTO "it's ok, just go for it bro" BY SOMEONE ON THE INTERNET REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY CLAIM THEIR CREDENTIALS TO BE!!

This is your mom bro. Be straight with the doctors involved. Wishing the best...
