Electric or Straight Razor?

So i've been using a Norelco for a bit now, and whoa is it easier and more convenient. The only thing is, i can't seem to keep my face from breaking out no matter what. It will be ok for a bit, then wham it all comes back. I've tried it all. Anyone else have experiences. I'm about to go back to the old school i think.

I have about 4 different types of razors

a wet dry, which I think sucks, I can't get my face smooth without a good 20minutes, a Mach3 which has been very face friendly for daily shaving and this gets my vote of confidence right now until something better comes out.

Mach3. It's the only thing I've found that works well for a quick, close shave and doesn't nick much.

Used to do the electric, but it didn't get as close as the razor and got hair everywhere. Tried Norelco, but that SOB was a pain in the ass to get close with...those damn revolving circular shits didn't cut worth a damn. 'Course that was like 5 years ago or more.

OUUUUUUUUUUUU

HAIRY......................................

LIKE ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNI........MAL!!!!!!!

:busy:

oh, excuse me.

I lost my head and um................

my best shave is using a norelco advantage electric razor, the one that shoots jiz outta the top.

with a freshly washed face, this shaver gives me a shave as close as any disposable, and does not make my meck break out in a rash and bumps.

it works great on the upper arms and down below also!

re:johnny U

LMFAO!!

sorry to be so graphic, but that's exactly what the neva shaving gel looks like.

i'm still not sure if the may comparo is a compliment or put down. i've never met the dude yet, just exchanged good natured insults and put downs with him here on elite.

i use the advantage as well. Or did. It didn't really shave close. Or it would, but i'd have to go against the grain for 10 mins straight causing major irritation and break outs. Not to mention going with the grain gave me a bad shave and still plenty of irritation. Much more convenient. But im giving straight ones a try again. Got a sensor excel. Worked pretty good this morning.

sensor excel for the face and Mach III for the head.

Can't use Mach III for the face cause the extra blade cause me to get the old razor burn.

If get ingrowns with a straight blade change your blades more often and don't use a after shave with alcohol in it.

Mach III for me. I HATE electrics....makes my face break out and feel greasy.
All that pushing it into your face and pulling your skin around with the electric has got to cause wrinkles down the road............
