THURSDAY - LEGS OR ARMS??????
FRIDAY - LEGS OR ARMS?


What would you suggest?
 
I think you would kill yourself training 4 days in a row, any time I train more than 2 days in a row I feel run down
 
Sorry.....day 4 will be off......I like 3 days on, 1 off, 2 on....one off....would you hit legs? Or Arms? and if it is legs, since I did deads yesterday and will do str8 leg deads (higher rep) today, would you nix back squats in place of leg press or hack?
 
I'm a little confused, can you lay the routine out in order, day 1-7?
 
Arms should come first, then legs. It should be like this...

Sunday - Chest/Calves
Monday - Back/Shoulders
Tuesday - Off
Wednesday - Off
Thursday - Arms
Friday - Legs
Saturday - Off

up until 2 months ago that was my exact split for years
 
Ni kidding...he ripped it from your thread..........I got the same routine, just three on and 1 off.....will hit arms on Day 3, Legs on Day 5..........what do you reccommend for a solid arm day? Just want to compare.....

5x5 for Standing Barbell and Close Grip
2X8-10 for preachers, incline curls, and hammer curls
2x8-10 for skulls, dbell overhead (french press), triangle cable.....

11 sets for each........4 warmups = 15 sets for bis and 15 for tris?
 
Jkurz- I think that maybe too many sets IMO, persoanlly I think

5x5 for Close-grip and barbell curl

2x8-10 pushdowns and incline curls

2x12 French press and reverse curls

Worked really well for me last year, I did before leg day and had good gains
 
Exactly- get in and hit it hard and intense, and you can take bigger rets in between sets, so you can have full energy each set. IMO it works great, anyone and their mom can do curls for a day, but to go in trash them in few sets is some real sick shit that works.

p.s. if volume worked every kid doing curls would have huger arms;)
