it sucks

it is leathery, nasty, $#@$#@$%@#% shizite...ohmigawrsh, I hate it i hate it i hate it i hate it

there has got to be SOME WAY to make this stuff taste different than the sole of my boot.

anyone? someone? I need to drop some bloober, and I gotta have my dead cow, but GADZOOKS...I forgot how tough that stuff is.

how do I make it not suck so horridly without dousing it in a light butter-creme sauce?

A skillet is fine. Just brown both sides, or use the foreman grill for a minute or two, then put it in the skillet with a little water, tomatoes, beef boullian cube....whatever you choose to use, cover and let it simmer on low with the lid on for a few hours like a stew. Should be fork tender when its done.

maranading is the best way.

Trick to get the air out of the bag:
Place the bag in water in your sink and push down on the bag till just the zipper is above the water. Ziplock it and pull it out. It is now air tight and will maranade better.

If it is a reall tough piece let it sit for a day or more in the fridge! I usually leave strip steak in a vacume sealed canister for a day before grilling it.

ALSO:::
Slice the meat VERY thin against the grain! The thinner it is the more tender it will seem.

PM me if you have questions

Round steak is awesome! :chomp: You gotta throw it in the crockpot dude.
I put about 3 lbs in with some white cooking wine(can omit this), and 1 onion soup mix(dry in a packet, comes in boxes of 3)throw in a can of mushrooms..and a can of cream of mushroom soup is really good, and about a can of h20. Cook on low for about 8 hrs. It's so tender it falls apart and is delicious! It's fast easy and cheap (buy on sale :qt: ).

I dont know what I would do w/o my george foreman.. love the thing.

I was gonna suggest the crockpot too along with the onion soup mix, but that stuff is all salt. A half packet, water, couple of onions, carrots and cabbage and let it cook all day while at work. If that doesnt fix it nothing will.

thats what you have to do.wrap and smash that bitch.let it sit in annt type of vinegar mix will help to.vinegear brakes down the meat and makes it soft.
