totally off topic but..

Tell mr. bagwell, that even with acoustic foam (or in this case mattress foam), a LDC mic shouldn't be positioned in a corner. If you perfectly understand the dynamics of phase cancellation, there are cases where it can be used to your advantage. In this case though, leave some (about 1.5 feet) air behind it and put it in front of a dampened wall. It will make his vocals sound much bigger and eliminate any odd phase inconsistencies that can thin out his sound. I would also mount the mic upside down and raise it a bit, for reasons you will inevitably figure out. If this is a professional studio... ignore my previous advice but make sure you aren't paying more than 50 bux/day for it
