New member here....Read a lot, and take in lots of information from various Boards...I am 22 yrs of age, 180 lbs, about 12% BF, 5'11".
I am currently just on protein supplementation (protein shakes) with a decent/clean diet and regular workout routine. I do not take any steroids or anabolics and may not indulge myself in them for now at least.
I am however, interested in kicking my metabolism up a little in order to burn off some adipose. I am very active, play multiple sports, workout etc...so basically im not a Fat fuck looking to take the easy way out. I think genetically I was born with a slow metabolism so it is harder to attain a good abdominal core even after a lot of workouts/dieting. Hence, I want to try kicking my metabolism up a notch in order to see if this will produce some results.
Today was DAY 1 of the stack. 8 mg ephedrine HCl (Going to jack it up to 16 tomorrow), 200 mg caffeine, and 325 mg White Willow Bark (Herbal substitue for aspirin to prevent damage to gastric lining)
I have a specific question on the well-known ECA stack. Specifically:
1. I understand that I shouldn't stay too long on it. However, I have read some works where they mention the AD receptor 3 that doesn't get downregulated and actually maintains thermogenesis through Brown Fat metabolism. So does this mean that it is beneficial to stay on it for a few months and then come off of it??? Mind you, this is the first time I've gotten onto this.
2. If the above is not true, I am planning to stay on it for approximately six weeks. This would involve a break during the fourth week and then get back on it in the fifth week. My main question is, once i get off it, WHEN SHOULD I CYCLE BACK ONTO IT??? I am a still puzzled about this as I haven't been able to attain a solid theory regarding this.
