ECA stack --- Intermediate seeking wisdom (HELP)

Hello Everyone,

New member here....Read a lot, and take in lots of information from various Boards...I am 22 yrs of age, 180 lbs, about 12% BF, 5'11".
I am currently just on protein supplementation (protein shakes) with a decent/clean diet and regular workout routine. I do not take any steroids or anabolics and may not indulge myself in them for now at least.

I am however, interested in kicking my metabolism up a little in order to burn off some adipose. I am very active, play multiple sports, workout etc...so basically im not a Fat fuck looking to take the easy way out. I think genetically I was born with a slow metabolism so it is harder to attain a good abdominal core even after a lot of workouts/dieting. Hence, I want to try kicking my metabolism up a notch in order to see if this will produce some results.


Today was DAY 1 of the stack. 8 mg ephedrine HCl (Going to jack it up to 16 tomorrow), 200 mg caffeine, and 325 mg White Willow Bark (Herbal substitue for aspirin to prevent damage to gastric lining)

I have a specific question on the well-known ECA stack. Specifically:

1. I understand that I shouldn't stay too long on it. However, I have read some works where they mention the AD receptor 3 that doesn't get downregulated and actually maintains thermogenesis through Brown Fat metabolism. So does this mean that it is beneficial to stay on it for a few months and then come off of it??? Mind you, this is the first time I've gotten onto this.

2. If the above is not true, I am planning to stay on it for approximately six weeks. This would involve a break during the fourth week and then get back on it in the fifth week. My main question is, once i get off it, WHEN SHOULD I CYCLE BACK ONTO IT??? I am a still puzzled about this as I haven't been able to attain a solid theory regarding this.

I use an ecy stack of 25mg ephed 200mg caf and 5 mg yohimbine. If your abdominal area is the problem use the yohimbine instead of the aspirin.
 
Ephedrine is best used @ a 10:1 caffeine to ephedrine ratio, hence 20-25mg e to 200mg c. Aspirin is not necessary. I have read several bits of literature stating that it is not necessary to cycle EC. I have done both, and honestly, they work very well (cycling and not cycling).

Thank you very much for the informative replies. Now, if I understand you correctly, you are saying that you are on EC stack continously?????????? That seems a little inefficient as you would in a matter of weeks downregulate your AD-1 and AD-2 receptors. Although you would be running BAT metabolism, I would think it is inefficient to continously stay on it as in the long run you would stress your adrenal glands out like crazy.....ANY TRUTH TO THIS????

Furthermore, the purpose of aspirin (white willow bark) I believe is to prolong the action of ephadrine within the blood. Hence, by being circulated within the blood the effects of ephadrine are perpetuated.


Lastly, I am still unsure about how to progress with my current ECA stack cycle. Although today was Day 1, I would surely welcome any suggestions.

Me again...1 last qtn...

If I were to currently stay on the ECA stack ....should i supplement it with the Yohimburn ES ???

Basically, 24 mg Ephedrine HCl, 200 mg caffeine ......along with the ES right before my workout??? A lot of people are taking t-rex, thermorexin, hydroxycut etc.....does it really matter or are they more efficient than the EC stack ???
