hey guys.. i am looking to improve my post workout shake. I have vanilla and chocolate whey, along with some soy powder.
Right now, i make a simple shake. some mango drink that i have in the fridge or OJ, then a scoop of vanilla whey, 3-4 ice cubes, and 1 or 2 fruits (bannana, rasberries, blueberries, whatever is available).
It tastes sooo good, but i know i can be making a better shake. I have soy milk that the guy at whole foods reccomended to go with the chocolate whey, and was thinking about adding peanut butter. However, a powerlifter who i met at the gym told me that the body can only assimilate for 20-25 grams of protein at a time so it probably wouldn't be a good idea.
Any ideas on how to improve my shake, or make a better one? I would like it to taste good, but if it's really filled with protein i won't care.
