Today I was working on squats at my 5 rep max (week 3 of 5's during HST training). The first set I was using 285 and on my very last rep I almost crumpled...but managed to regain form and get the weight up. So - I decided to drop down to 275 and crank out a second set. Do you guys ever do this? Or would you just do the 1 set that kills you and move to the next exercise?
