I just spent a week on vacation hanging out in two A rated bars that were literally steps from my hotel. It was awesome but i dropped a grip on beer that week.

there's a hole in the wall bar near my house that has an insane selection of great beers.. a lot of them are $15 and up. granted, those are bar prices, but in comparison a bud is $3.

I was in asheville NC.
Jack Of the Wood and Thristy Monk were both right beside my hotel. Both badass bars. The craft brew community is strong there. Pry the best in the south. The selection at both bars was ridiculous.
Jack Of the Wood has a killer cask ale. First time I've ever had anything like that. So fucking good.

i like brewsters here, every month they got some special beer that tastes good. this month is peach, last was watermelon, and it comes with fruit chunks in it. i always get drunk and do something jackassish.

I hit up the movies alone. Usually it's when I'm going to the theaters that show indie or foreign flicks though. Nobody ever wants to go to those. 
Best of both worlds = We have this chain of movie theaters here that's 21+, serves awesome food and serves beer, wine and cocktails. You could drink and watch movies alone. That's a little less loserish, right? Or more?
