Drew out blood when I went to inject... injected anyway.

Today was shot day. I had always been told to draw back the plunger to make sure that the needle had not punctured a blood vessel, but I was never sure what to do if it did. Well, tonight I drew back the plunger and out squirted some blood. I wasn't sure what to do and sure as hell wasn't going to scrub what was in the syringe so I injected anyway. Is there cause for alarm or concern? It's been about 25 minutes and I feel fine. I would really appreciate some advice. Thoughts? Anybody?

the syringe would rush with blood into the cylinder. i abandoned a shoulder poke today because i started getting blood in the needle before i started aspirating. i drew out and hit the pec instead. where did you shoot it? i don't want to play doctor, but i have never, ever heard of someone accidentally mainlining juice. i think you'll be fine...

I think people are way too obsessive over accidentally mainlining juice. Even if you did mainline it, what is the theory behind it being harmful?

I've read posts claiming some components of the injected solution (BA) will accumulate in your lungs and cause a long lasting coughing fit. I'm not sure if that is the only problem though.

i get that way whenever the pin pierces my skin...idk why...

he wasn't in a vein. coulda been old scar tissue, which we all have. or poked right thru a vein. he'll be fine.

I shot it in the quad. I would think that if I had mainlined it, that I would have felt any negative effects before now. I just don't want a blood clot to form and later become lodged in my lungs or my brain.

i don't think that's gonna happen. and yeah, if it was something hazerdous, it woulda hit you already.
