its a great flick that not many people know about. i liked just about everything about donnie darko-soundtrack, acting, story, camera work, etc.

Donnie rode his bike (time transport vessel) through the wormhole to the past. At the same time the turbine of the jet engine (another time transport vessel) went through the wormhole and fell on him in his room. He changed time for himself, but the turbine functioned within an independent channel because it entered the wormhole independently.

I saw it a while ago several times but bought my own copy this past weekend. I greatly enjoy that film. Superb. I've talked about it several times on here before but for some odd reason everyone is catching on just now. I really don't get it but whatever. It's whoever it is that decides that shit is cool, probably Richard Simmons, finally stumbled upon that film and then started spreading it around that it is indeed worth seeing. So everyone's all, "Have you seen Donnie Darko yet? Richard Simmons says it's cool as hell so you can't go wrong." And then that person tells the same thing to another person, and that person tells someone else, and so on, and so on....

Time travel movies are actually fun to watch. Time travel is an interesting concept, and everyone likes to imagine what it'd be like to go back and "change time" or change their errors.

BUT, time is a man-made invention, thus time travel isnt possible. People dont get "older", we just "age" by the effects that everything around us has on our bodies.
