I remember back when I lived in Africa telling a neighboring farmer that.

The answer, folks: No, clothing doesnt make you a "gangster".

Fubu stands for "for us, by us". The company was founded by a group of black men, which came across as "For blacks, by blacks" when the clothing was introduced. I'd say its up to the person to decide what exactly "us" means in this scenario.

Wearing Fubu clothing doesnt make someone a "wannabe" and it doesnt make someone a "gangster", either.

Also, the reason many people wear Fubu (I own a jersey myself) is that the clothing is reasonably well made and looks great (how many other companies make good looking, similar jerseys? - Not many)

Just remember, it's fucking clothing, people.
